The Ads of Rapture

Originally built for a utopian society, it had a wonderful art deco theme and beautiful architecture. But once Adam was discovered, the city suffered. Today it lies in a state of disrepair. Some areas are flooded, others scarred by war and biological weapons.
Few people live in Rapture today. But those that remain (and those brave enough to explore what remains) will see many advertisements would have been common during better times.
